We currently have a garden on the grounds of Porter Medical Center. We seek to provide a place to cultivate for folks of all abilities who don't have a convenient space to do so at home. Our goal is to foster a sense of community, sustainability, and wellness within the Middlebury area.

We have 16 plots, each of which measures about 4’ x 24‘. The plots are tilled each spring, and the last few years we also added compost. Water is on-site, with plenty of garden hose to reach your plot. Weeds and vegetables gone-by can be tossed into our compost pile.
  • From the roundabout downtown, take Main Street (Route 30).
  • Take your first left onto South Street.
  • Continue until reaching Porter Medical Center.
  • Take your first left onto Collins Drive.
  • Follow the drive to the end, and you’ll see the garden on your right.
